The Story

Hello everyone! My name is Kevin Romar. I'm a Professional Skateboarder, DJ, and Entrepreneur. I've been a professional skateboarder for about 10 years, and have been a DJ for about 8 years. I've been skating for about 18 years of my life, and it has been one heck of a journey.

WORLD PREMIERE

The Journey started early on from when I was a little kid. I come from a broken home who was raised by a single parent, my Mom. I've watched her struggle time after time when I was little, and seeing her strength as she always found a way to take care of me and my 2 older sisters meant a whole lot.

Growing up with no money, and having to hustle for everything is why I made this brand World Premiere. It's the Journey that you have to go through to get to your World Premiere. The first public display of your performance and your worldwide debut of your work. Your World Premiere can be anything you want it to be, as long as its a place that fits perfectly in your vision and your heart. The Journey is Everything, literally. Without it, it wouldn't make us who we are.

Throughout my Journey I've been through so may trials and tribulations that it's amazing that I have made it this far, and still going. I want to share the experience with you to let you know that anybody can do it if you really put your mind to it.

I used to sell paper guns in elementary school, sold stickers, basically I hustled whatever I could get my hands on that was legal to sell. I've always had a hustler mentality ever since I was little, because that's how I was able to survive. I didn't have money to do anything so I had to figure out a way to make a living for myself, while my mom did what she could. My pops ran out on us when I was 8 years old, so I never had a father figure to give me guidance or help when we were in need, so I had to build street smarts up at an early age, and moving around a bunch didn't help as well. I was always trying to find my way in a different place constantly. Once I found skateboarding it made me feel like I found my place and that's when my brain started to kick into overdrive in the best way possible.

I've always had a vision and felt like I knew what I was capable of. Once I started to actually be around creatives like me, my brain would never shut off. I've never been the one to like too much idle time as my mind is always creating in my head, always thinking of the next project to do.

I'm always brainstorming in my head of which spot I want to skate, and what tricks I want to do it. Once I get the skate footage clip, I'm in my laptop immediately editing it to a song that I think would be good to the clip. I'm very hands on with everything, I edited most of my footage as an amateur to being a professional. From the Berry Video, to my Blind Skateboards "This Is Not A Test" video part, to my Mag Minute part, to just about every footage you see that is major, I have put my editing stamp on it, also with the music. That's also which led me to the big stage in DJing, and Skate Video World Premiere's.

It's pretty much how I got into DJing and also how I started to see how musically inclined I really was. Which led to more creativity, which led me to design things for my sponsors that I skated for. From, boards, to sunglasses, to shoes, to bracelets, to wheels, trucks, water bottles, and even stage setups, it's led me to create and have signature pieces for those items.

I'm just a regular kid, that comes from literally nothing. My goal is to inspire as many people as I can to let them know that it's possible to do anything you set your mind to. I have traveled across the world a couple of times with skateboarding and DJing. I DJ for a rapper named Hopsin and I've been his tour DJ for about 4 years now, and have been overseas about every year with him to be his DJ. It's wild to even say that, a kid that came from absolutely nothing, that was selling fake paper guns in elementary school trying to make some money, to hustling stickers, to trying to find anyway to survive, then making it out the gutter to being able to DJ for a rapper and become a professional skateboarder is why I present to you my clothing brand World Premiere, is because you can do it too!

I've always wanted to tell my story through clothing. The World Premiere ticket logo is meant for you to envision that you are the World Premiere and this is your stage. Wearing this clothing will make you feel like you automatically beat the system and you are at your World Premiere. It's authentic and it represents everyone. From skateboarders, to DJ's, to party goers, photographers, mailmen, to grandma's and grandpa's, it's for anybody that wants to feel awesome and unique. All the clothes are soft, fit well, and each design is curated by me and the artwork is done by my friend Hugo Salvadore aka (@Juicebox.PSD). He is a long time friend that believes in the brand just as much as I do and his artwork skills take the brand to the next level.

If you wear a piece of the gear, you believe in this movement and I thank you!
